Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Twenty Six
Howdy,
February is here, friends. It’s going to be a great month. And we get one extra day with it being a leap year. Let’s take advantage of it!
We’ve got some great content this week. The video hits home and highlights the need for persistence with students. This week’s Emailable PD highlights a tool that has completely turned around my relationships with hard-to-reach students. It’s simple and effective. Two of my favorite things!
And please answer the “Would you rather"?” question this week. It’s a classic. I’ve curiously noticed a big shift in schools lately, so I’m interested to see your responses.
Enjoy!
P.S. Don’t forget, tomorrow is another Monthly PD email. It’ll be dropping at 6 AM Pacific time, so keep your eyes peeled!
“I have been extremely pleased with your resources …”
“I love the newsletter...I use parts of it for my weekly "S'more" newsletter to my staff. They love the videos and I always choose a quote to share as well. I love the PD presentations … Keep up the great work!”
“I really liked getting the weekly emails. As a fairly new administrator, this has been a gift.”
“This is a great resource, it has saved me hours of looking for resources.”
Thanks so much for being a subscriber and supporting my work! If you’re not already a paid subscriber, check out the wealth of resources available for the price of a latte. I’d be indebted if you’d consider upgrading!

Weekly Emailable PD
Use in staff newsletters, emailable PD messages, etc.
This week we’re starting to look at what I like to call “micro strategies.” They’re incredibly practical tools that any teacher can use right away. And we always try to provide some direct examples, often including an example script of how to implement it in your teachers’ classrooms - all with the goal of improving teacher-student relationships.
This week’s micro strategy is called, “Ask for a favor,” and it’s one of my all-time favorites. I’ve used this countless times with students in the past and it’s really been a game changer.
