Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Thirty Eight
Ahoy, friends!
The days are getting longer, the kids are getting antsy, and you’re probably finalizing a few looming summer trips. Welcome to almost-May!
It’s been a few months since we did a “free for all” week. Please enjoy the full email this week totally free.
It’s always good to remind folks what all is included in a paid subscription. If you want the full list of goodies, take a look here. Needless to say, it adds up to over a thousand dollars of PD for just $70/year.
(Note: We will be raising rates every so slightly once more this summer. As in the past, however, you lock in your current rate for life whenever you upgrade. So, if you’re already a paid subscriber, you’ll never pay a penny more than you do right now. And if you subscribe before the price increase in September, the same will apply to you.)
A few quick notes:
This week’s video is a bit longer, but I think its candid vibe is something your teachers will enjoy
This week’s Emailable PD is a two-parter - check out next week’s email for the second half (and it’s an awesome strategy, resulting in a 69% decrease in discipline incidents!)
Enjoy!

Weekly Emailable PD
Use in staff newsletters, emailable PD messages, etc.
This strategy is really worth your time. Now, the unbelievable results are from a single study, so they should be interpreted with caution. Still, if this intervention is only half as effective, it would still be incredible. And I’ve used it myself in the classroom. It’s a real relationship-builder between teachers and students!

Question: On April 30th, 1789, George Washington was inaugurated in which city?
Answer: Washington was inaugurated in New York City at Federal Hall at approximately 2:00 PM, followed by his first inaugural address and a gathering at St. Paul’s Chapel. After the day’s festivities, Washington dined alone at his new residence, Franklin House.
