Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Forty Two
Hi friends,
Welcome to the penultimate edition of this year’s newsletter. That’s right, next week will be my last weekly email for the ‘23-24 school year. But fear not! I’ll kick off the fourth straight year of the newsletter in ‘24-25. I’ll also send out my annual survey soon to solicit your feedback. I love to fine-tune things each year to be sure that I’m giving you exactly what you need.
This week’s video is great. I love it when teachers have a sense of humor about themselves, especially this time of year. It’s always a reminder that it’s about the kids. And from the cheers and hollers, you can tell there’s nothing more engaging for students than a teacher willing to make a fool of themselves.
Also, I hope you love this week’s Emailable PD. I’m trying to keep it as practical as possible as we near the finish line.
Enjoy
P.S. This week’s email is free for everyone! If you’re not a paid subscriber, consider hopping on board. Not only will you get access to a full year of Emailable PD (use it next year if you didn’t this year), but you’ll also lock in our current subscription price FOR LIFE! We’ll be increasing rates for new subscribers in August, so get in while you can.

Weekly Trivia

Question: June 1st is National Donut Day. When did the first celebration occur and what well-known organization started it?
Answer: The first National Donut Day was celebrated in 1938 in honor of a tradition starting in 1917. The Salvation Army’s “Donut Lassies” served near the front lines in France, offering soldiers a tasty treat as they restocked their supplies. This group of courageous women was also credited with making the donut popular stateside as soldiers returned home.
