Hey peeps,

Welcome back! I hope your holiday break was equal parts restful and joyful—and maybe even included some time to catch your breath and recharge. I’m feeling refreshed and excited to dive into the second half of the year with all of you!

To kick things off, we’re sharing a quick video about something we can ALL relate to—students mysteriously losing pencils like it’s their superpower. It’s funny because it’s true, and sometimes we just need to laugh before we restock the pencil cup—again.

We’re also focusing this week’s Emailable PD on classroom discussions—how to get students talking, thinking, and taking ownership of their learning. Whether your teachers are looking to spark better conversations or just get kids more comfortable speaking up, we’ve got some practical strategies you can put to work right away.

Enjoy!
