Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Twenty Four
Hi friends,
Happy Saturday! Hope everyone’s week was as smooth as possible.
One of the quotes included in last week’s email has resonated with me lately, and I thought I’d share it upfront.
“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” -Maya Angelou
I know you may not each love what you do every day, but keep in mind another quote from another one of the greats: “Anyone who does anything to help a child is a hero to me.” Thanks for that reminder, Mr. Rogers.
Thanks for all you do. It matters.
Oh, and thanks for voting last week. Last week’s video was much more popular. In fact, 75% of you gave it five stars! That’s helpful feedback.
This week’s video is produced by my company. It’s from a course we did on classroom management - specifically on building relationships with kids. This individual is an amazing teacher - one I had the privilege of working with directly for several years. I hope it’s helpful.
Shameless plug:
I had the great pleasure of being a guest on the Principal Matters podcast. If you want to hear more about how I went from being a laid-off administrator to interviewing educators full-time (and how you also can do something wildly outside of your comfort zone), check it out. But mainly, you’ll get great knowledge bombs from the legendary William Parker. He’s the real deal.
Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Will’s website.
