Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Twelve
Howdy howdy,
A very heartfelt “hello and happy Saturday” to each and every one of you. I trust your week was full of both the expected and the unexpected. I hope you had some joy sprinkled in there.
Thanks to everyone who read and took the quick survey on the first installment of Mike’s Midweek Musings. I was pretty blown away by the response. Overwhelmingly positive! And as the majority demands, I will be conducting a salary survey. I hope to send it out mid-next week! Rest assured everyone will receive both the survey and the report as soon as they’re done.
This week’s content is heartwarming and helpful. A very touching homage to a favorite teacher from a group of middle schoolers. Some excellent communication strategies for teachers to try with parents, colleagues, and administrators. And one down-right awesome AI tool that can help you get to the most important part of a long YouTube video right away.
Enjoy!

As we continue to talk about classroom management, we’ve migrated from focusing on structure in the classroom to zeroing in on relationship-building strategies. Last week, we talked about using humor appropriately and effectively with students. This week, we’ll tackle communication between teachers and parents, teachers and colleagues, and teachers and administrators. I think the communication between teachers and parents is of particular value.
