Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Three
Hey y’all,
Hope it’s been a good week for you and yours. I’ve just wrapped up inservice and will be welcoming students back next Tuesday. I’m super excited to have kids back in the building. While the time with just colleagues is settling, there’s something eerie about being in a school too long without younger energy.
This week’s video is quite touching. Just proof of how far a simple comment can take a student. (Note: Don’t judge how dated the video seems - the content is really solid). And today’s Emailable PD is uber relevant for the season. In it, you’ll find eight easy strategies that your staff can use to start building relationships immediately. I hope you dig it!
Have a great week!

This week, let’s talk relationships — the real secret sauce of a strong start to the school year. When students feel seen and known, they engage more, take risks, and trust the process. The good news? It doesn’t take grand gestures. A name at the door, a quick “this or that” warm-up, or a personal share can go a long way. These early connections aren’t just nice—they’re the foundation of everything we’re building this year. Let’s make them count.
