Hey friends,

I hope you’re all catching your breath after what’s surely been another awesome—but let’s be honest, very busy—week. I had the chance to take a group of teenagers out to a local minor league baseball game, and let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like soaking in the spring sunshine with a bunch of energetic students. Their excitement was contagious and, honestly, it was a much-needed morale boost for everyone (myself included).

That’s exactly the spirit we’re channeling in this week’s edition: finishing strong and sidestepping that dreaded end-of-year slump. Inside, you’ll find a mix of real talk from a real teacher who knows what you’re going through, along with some quick, Emailable PD ideas focused on keeping students engaged all the way to the finish line. My hope is that there’s something here for everyone—especially for those teachers running on empty as we head toward summer. Let’s make these last months count!

Cheers!
