Hey there,

I hope everyone is having an exceptionally awesome weekend so far. I’ve heard from a handful of you this week about exciting things that are happening in your districts, challenges that inevitably arise in October, as well as some good video recommendations.

I love hearing from you, so feel free to reply to this email anytime for any reason. While I have a team of folks working on various things, I always read these responses personally.

On that note, shout out to Shirley from Oregon for sending me this week’s video. I think you’ll really enjoy it!

Cheers!

Weekly Emailable PD

Use in staff newsletters, emailable PD messages, etc.

We started the year talking about structure, migrated to Restorative Practices (RP), and will be focused on building relationships for a while. If you didn’t get a chance to check out last week’s Monthly Staff PD on Community Circles, it’s a great place to start - especially if you need some ready-to-go PD resources for your staff on improving classroom community.

This week, we’re covering three concrete ways for teachers to deepen relationships with students. And don’t forget to note the references page. Three amazing books on classroom management if you haven’t already read them!

See below for downloadable PDFs and JPEGs for your staff newsletters.
