Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Sixteen
Hey everyone,
I hope you had a truly wonderful Thanksgiving. I mean it. I hope you were filled with unparalleled joy while surrounded by those you love. It’s one of the most profound things we can experience.
If that wasn’t the case for you, I’m very sorry. As a consolation prize, I hope you at least got some deep rest. That’s quite the gift in itself.
As we head back into the building and the holiday season, I thought it would be a good time to talk about mid-year reflections. I’m not talking about the type your staff do with you, but the kind that they do on their own. Taking time to evaluate how things are going at this time of year gives us the opportunity to course-correct on a few things while there’s still plenty of time to recover from mistakes.
I found a great video that aligns well with our Emailable PD. I love the concept that every teacher needs support and every teacher fails in this very difficult job. It’s strangely encouraging. (Note: The good stuff is in the first half of the video. The second half is just a bunch of quotes. They’re good quotes, but not quite as engaging.)
I hope it’s a great week!

This week, we’re inviting teachers to pause—not to power down, but to reflect with purpose. Mid-year can feel like a blur of grading, routines, and to-do lists. But taking just a moment to notice what’s working, where we’ve grown, and what needs a gentle reset can bring clarity and momentum. Reflection isn’t about perfection—it’s about insight. This week’s resource offers bite-sized prompts and tools to help teachers realign their practice and finish the semester strong. Because a small pause now can lead to a stronger, steadier second half.
