Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Six
Hi friends,
I’ll shoot you straight. It’s the end of a long, crazy week, I’m writing this late on Thursday night, and I don’t have anything inspiring to say. How many of us feel that way sometimes?
And while I could conjure up something eloquent and humorous from ChatGPT, I feel that many of you read this newsletter in part because it deals with the imperfect yet fascinating world of working with young humans. And since that’s your job, too, you may also be reading this at the end of a long week. Exhausted, but hopefully fulfilled. That’s how I feel.
We do have some fun stuff this week. A Simon Sinek video that is 100% adult SEL. I need to hear it, maybe you need to hear it, perhaps your teachers need to hear it - and I can guarantee some parents need to hear it! And this week’s Emailable PD tackles differentiation, but in a way that’s hopefully very manageable. I hope you and your teachers find it helpful.
Get some rest this weekend!

This week, we’re focusing on one of the most impactful ways to support student learning: differentiation without the overwhelm. It doesn’t mean rewriting your lessons—it means making smart, small moves like offering choice, adjusting questions, or regrouping students based on need. Whether it’s a choice board, tiered prompts, or flexible grouping, these strategies help us meet students where they are—without burning out. Let’s keep differentiation simple, sustainable, and focused on what matters most: helping every learner grow.
