Hi fam,

Happy Labor Day weekend! I’ve been back in the building all week prepping for students to return next week. I’ve got all the feels going on right now - excitement, nerves, underprepared, overprepared. I’ll be trying to bank sleep over the long weekend in anticipation of the sleepless night before the first day. Who’s with me?

We’ve got a lot of great content this week. We’re talking about school connection, making your classroom a family, how to encourage disconnected students, and more. And tomorrow, we’ll send out our first monthly “For Your Staff” PD video highlight. Keep an eye out for it in the morning!

Enjoy!

P.S. I realize I neglected to include our weekly video poll last week. My apologies! On a related note, vote this week!

Weekly Emailable PD

I’m really excited about this week’s PD. We’re discussing how to increase school connection, specifically how to help students belong beyond simply telling them, “You belong!” Words are great, but they must be coupled with action. We give your teachers practical ways to help isolated students develop their connection to school.

See below for downloadable PDFs and JPEGs for your staff newsletters.
