Weekly Inspo Vids - Week Eighteen
Hey folks,
Well, we just about made it. Heading into the final week before a break always has a certain, fun energy. I’m pretty excited to have some quality time with my students, and then some quality time with my own kids for a couple of weeks.
As you head into this last week, I hope it’s a solid one for you and your teachers. I know it can be a hard week for students who struggle while at home. Cut them some extra grace, and then give yourself some space from work. Well deserved!
This week’s video is a fun little reminder of how we can bless our own kids across our district. I might actually see if there’s a way I could take my high schoolers to visit our middle schoolers. I think it would be pretty cool.
This week’s Emailable PD is all about maintaining relationships as the year progresses. This is a good season for a reminder. I need to continually remind myself that the students I think I know are complex individuals about whom I can always be more curious.
And with that, I hope you have an incredibly warm holiday with your people. You deserve it! Just a reminder that the newsletter will also be on holiday break. After today, the next weekly email will arrive on January 3rd.
