Hey there!

How was the week? It’s always a bit tricky reintegrating after some time off. I hope all went smoothly. (Sick of turkey leftovers for lunch yet?)

This is a pretty normal week here at the newsletter. Except for two small changes:

  • As stated last week, we’re not doing our normal Monthly PD for December as most folks have so much already planned for the short month. We’ll pick up with a new video on Jan 7th.

  • Tomorrow is the official drop of our Salary Survey Report! We’ve been cranking on this behind the scenes for awhile. I think you’ll especially appreciate the “Affordability Ratio”- an equation that reflects a salary relative to the cost-of-living. It’s awesome! Check your inbox tomorrow morning!

That’s all for now! I hope you enjoy this week’s quirky video. I found it to be a great metaphor for what we do.

Enjoy!

Check out the archive of archives. If you’re tired of looking for all the various documents I’ve provided, they’re all linked to this single document. An archive of archives!

Weekly Emailable PD

Use in staff newsletters, emailable PD messages, etc.

This week’s PD is an excellent synopsis of what we’ve been discussing regarding classroom management. Students want boundaries. Students want you to be fair. And students want to know that you care. It’s an important reminder. I hope your teachers find it useful!

See below for downloadable PDFs and JPEGs for your staff newsletters.
